The privacy statement of Stichting GSP Rescue HR (hereinafter: "we") is amended from time to time. Visitors to our sites are advised to periodically read our privacy statement.

This privacy statement oversees all our processing operations. These privacy conditions apply to the visit to and use of our websites of, as well as information, recommendations and / or services made available to you on or via this website.

We respect the privacy of visitors to our website and ensure that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially and with the greatest possible care. Processing of the personal data takes place in a manner that is in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Why do we process personal data?

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• Processing donorship or one-time donation

We record personal data of relations, donors or donors (hereinafter: "donor") such as name, address, place of residence, telephone number, date of birth, e-mail address and financial data for the execution of the donation or processing of a one-off donation.

• To thank and inform

We can use the above information to thank the donor by telephone, post and or e-mail for the donation or to inform about our mission, our dogs, news and events. We do our best to inform the donor in advance of the donation or authorization about what the donor can expect from us per year in terms of information. If you have a question or complaint about this, please let us know. You can call, write or send us an e-mail or contact us via our social media channels.

• Email optimization

In order to optimize the content of our e-mails, we can view and record specific data such as open and click rate on our e-mails on an individual level. We do this to keep our coverage as interesting as possible for our readers.

• Social media advertising opportunities

In order to show you targeted posts or advertisements, we may use the possibilities offered by social media platforms to advertise through them, such as Facebook target groups. We do not use custom audiences based on e-mail addresses.

Via the privacy settings of the social media channel you can unsubscribe from advertisements or change your preferences.

• Processing applications for rehoming

We record personal data of potential clients such as name, address, place of residence, telephone number, date of birth, e-mail address and relevant medical data in order to process the application.

• Processing registrations as a host family

We record personal data of potential puppy foster families such as name, address, place of residence, telephone number, e-mail address and living situation in order to process the registration.

How do we process personal data?

We process personal data in the following ways:

• Database: Donor data is stored externally in a secure system. We use the integrated Donorbox application for this.Donorbox is a company operated by Rebel Idealist Inc.Learn More about Donorbox.

• E-mail sending: we use the WIx platform to send e-mails to our donors, subscribers or clients with e-mail addresses.

• Online payments: donations via iDeal and/or credit card are made via the integrated Donorbox application. Stripe Inc. processes the payment between our donation platform and your bank or credit card provider.  Learn More

• Special personal data: data of clients is stored in its own database.

• Special data: in order to be able to process the application for a relocation, we record special data, which have been obtained via the online contact form.

 

Which cookies do we use?

We use four types of cookies: advertising, tracking, functional, and analytical. Read on the page Cookie statement more about these types of cookies and their use.

Rights of those involved

Under the GDPR, everyone has a number of rights. If you want to exercise your rights, please contact us at gspreschuehr@gmail.com or +385925055910. If you want to submit a request immediately, think of sending your name, address, telephone number and a copy of a valid proof of identity.

• Information, inspection and rectification

Of course you can see which of your personal data we process. We are happy to tell you more about how and why we process this data.

Do you feel that we have wrong data about you? Let us know and we'll adjust it.

• Oblivion

You can delete the personal data we have about you. It may be that we still have to process this data for other purposes (administration or deduplication, for example).

• Unsubscribe email

We do not use newsletters or e-mail campaigns. With the exception of so-called transactional e-mails, such as the automatic confirmation of a registration via an online form.

• Constraint

If you feel that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can also have that processing restricted.

• Objection (opposition)

You can submit an objection to the processing of your personal data. Is it about marketing? Then we will terminate that processing as soon as possible.

We will inform you in writing as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks, whether personal data has been processed and whether we can comply with the request for change or deletion. The modification of the data will also be passed on to the third parties concerned, provided that this is possible and that this does not require a disproportionate effort. If we refuse the request for removal or are not possible, this will be explained in writing.

• Portability (export of personal data)

This is a new right under the GDPR to transfer your personal data or have it transferred. If you want to make use of this, please contact us.

Retention period for personal data

Nullity

We reserve the right to amend this privacy statement. Changes will be published on this website. If this privacy statement is or becomes partially invalid, the parties remain bound by the remaining part. The parties will replace the invalid part with clauses that are valid and whose legal consequences, given the content and scope of this privacy statement, correspond as much as possible to those of the invalid part. Visitors to our sites are advised to periodically read our privacy statement.

Applicable law and competent court

This privacy statement is exclusively subject to Dutch law. All disputes that arise in connection with this privacy statement, including disputes about its existence and validity, will be settled by the competent court in Amsterdam.

We ensure appropriate orzganizational, technical and physical security of all our systems in which personal data is stored. In this way, we ensure that data is only accessible to persons who are authorised to do so by virtue of their position and that the data is only used for the purposes for which it was obtained and compatible purposes.

All information provided by you will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the GDPR by us and by our cooperation partners.
